The blueberry is a shrub that ripens from late July to early September. It grows between 50 cm and 1 meter in height, with juicy, smooth leaves and sharp twigs. Blueberry bushes are relatively difficult to harvest, and picking is usually done manually with the help of specially designed “combs” that make it easier to strip the berries from the stems. Blueberries are used for various purposes, including desserts, jams, juices, and blueberry tea (made from dried fruit, leaves, or roots), as well as blueberry wine.
